With the economy crashing down around us, so many people are actually trying to *gasp!* save money- but its not as easy as it looks. Countless Americans are failing miserably at trying to be thrifty, so I’m writing this article to tell all of you out there that no, you don’t have to sell your Grandmother’s antique silver just to keep a little cash in your pocket.
1) Pocket Change! It collects in your cup holders, in the washing mashing, in your shoe. The one place it never seems to collect? THE BANK! This little tip is one most would scoff at: but after a while, the dimes, nickels, quarters and pennies really start to add up. But how to keep it out of those pesky places I’ve already mentioned? Well, here’s what you’re going to do. Go out to the store and get two large containers in which to hold any coins you may collect throughout the day. Place one in your cubicle at work, and one by the front door of your house. When the two are filled up, DO NOT take them to a Coin-Star machine, or something similar. Know why? For every dollar you put in that machine, it receives nine cents of it!
I suggest rolling your own coins- it’s not that difficult and, if you want it to be, it can be a fun way to bond with your kids. Make it into a contest. Award prizes. Whatever. Or give the neighborhood kid five bucks and have them do it. Then when you have your many rolls of coins, mosey on down to your bank and trade those suckers in for a wad of cash. (Be warned: you will be treated like a neanderthal of sorts at the bank; some people are too snooty to roll there own coins nowadays. But hey, you’ll be a rich neanderthal, so don’t let it bother you.)
Now, this money will not be used to pay your bills. This money is what I like to call “Holy Crap! money”, because life, with its sick humor, likes to send us curve balls and speed bumps, such as, “Holy Crap! My car just broke down”, or “Holy Crap! I just broke my arm”, or the ever popular, “Holy Crap! It’s Christmas and I haven’t bought anything!”.
2) This next tip may make you feel slightly like a senior citizen- unless you are one, in which case, kudos to you for trying to save some cash. The tip is a good one, one many people already use: the circulars. Now, the dictionary.com definition of a circular is: A printed advertisement, directive, or notice intended for mass distribution. The ones I’m referring to are the ones in the front of your supermarket, that tell you the sales on all sorts of food. Here is how to use these handy little things:
a) Make two shopping lists: one with all the essentials your family needs such as bread, milk, eggs, as well as large categories like fruits, and cereal. On the second list, write out frivolous things your family might want such as cookie dough and frozen waffles, as well as things that fit into the large categories on the first list, like apples and Cap’n Crunch.
b) Take these two lists to the store and pick up the circular for that week. Go through and circle all the re-occurring things on your lists and the circulars. If something on the first list is not in the circular, buy it regardless. If this is the case for the second list, you should not buy it for that week.
3) This last tip contains many separate tips: They are grouped together because they most come with a sacrifice: Time or Money? What i mean by this is that if you want to spend the time to make your lunch instead of buying it, you could save an unbelievable amount per year. But doing so will eat up your time in the morning. I believe the choice is easy, but then, I am the one writing the article. So think about this trade-off before you make a decision. (Note: I believe that even though they take up time, they can be fun and well-worth it if you involve your family and friends.)
a) Wash your car at home instead of getting it done professionally.
b) Buy one durable, fill-up plastic water bottle and a purifier: this will soon pay for itself and is better for the environment.
c) Be sure to use ALL of a cosmetic before switching to a new one. To create a new lip gloss, scoop out the lasts of your lip-stick and mix in some Vaseline.
d) Of course, shop thrift-stores and Good Will, but also learn to barter and hit some yard sales!
HAPPY BARGAIN HUNTING!

Before you design your business card you should read up on a few designing tips, here are the main points that you should consider before making designing your business cards.
1) How many people will you be giving these cards out too?
This is because you will need to know how many business cards to order. This is because most websites where you can buy your business cards ask you how many business cards you want before you design them on the designing web page. So if you do not know how many you will be needing before you design them you will not be able to order or design your business card.
2) if you were looking at the business card from someone else’s point of view would you like it?
The main key to this is put yourself in someone else’s shoes, if you think how the people your giving the cards to think then you will have the answer to all your questions.
3) If you were looking at the business card from someone else’s point of view can you read it?
You also have to think about if the person reading your business card can read it. For example if you have dark blue background with black font, the person reading your card will not be able to read the business card.
4) The placement of the description on your card.
You must place the description on your card well, for example you should now have all of the different details (name, business name, website, phone number, email) all bulked up into the middle as this makes it harder to read. You should think carefully and preview your business card as you add new details to it.
Using the above tips you will be well on your way to designing your business cards.

Yeah OB is outspending McCain and not pulling the lead by that much in Pennsylvania or elsewhere in the country. He averages a 2-5 pts lead depending on which poll you look at. Polls are not generally to be relied on but they do give some indication of the way things are going. Much depends on the questions and manner in which they are worded.
With all the spending and the money raised and the hoopla to get out the vote it is interesting that his lead is so little.
Could it be that his lies are finally coming out? Is he lying when he says 250K is the rich threshold? He has said after all just a few months back that 217K would be the threshold. He was said no one would receive a tax increase now he says it will be a tax cut.
Lately his campaign has lowered threshold to 200K and Biden even said 140K. Which is nearer what Dems usually say is rich anything over 100K. In fact just last year both Biden and Obama voted to raise taxes on those earning over 42K.
Well friends, 100K is not poor but it is closer to middle class than ever. In about 5 years 100K will be the lower middle and poor will be at 60K. Who would have thought you could be poor at 35K? In many parts of the country 60K is not enough for one income.
In 2010 the tax cuts that were passed in Congress will be up for vote to extend. Obama will not want those tax cuts extended and most Democrats do not want the tax cuts extended. When those are reversed then that is a TAX INCREASE.
Be careful what you wish for. LOOK at the e voting record and look at what is planned.
When wishing businesses to take it on the chin and pay for more you are really saying tax ME more. Where do you think biz gets tax revenue? It’s not from their profits it’s from the taxes they collect.
Add up your taxes now. Those taxes you have right now federally were scheduled b Democrats to be removed and revert to prior years rates. They fought to keep those tax cuts away from you.
So far we have tax increased by 2010 on the poor as well as middle and upper class. WE have social security increases and we have capital gains increases and estate tax increases.
I don’t see any plans to cut spending by Obama. Not only that with the economy having problems this last couple of months we are looking at a recession that if government messes with it too much could cause a DEPRESSION. What could they do? They could RAISE taxes in a recession which by historic example makes the problem worse. ALWAYS.

Some time ago it was suggested that a national sales tax could replace our current individual income tax. That suggestion was never seriously considered by a significant number of congressmen, and those in the general public had the reasonable fear that a national sales tax would be implemented, but income tax would never be eliminated. In our current economic situation, perhaps the idea should be reexamined.
A tax on spending rather than earning will put more money in the pockets of working people. A 5% across the board sales tax on non-essential items would tax everyone, rich included, fairly. The wealthy typically spend more; therefore they will pay more tax. There will be neither shelters nor loopholes, but there certainly will be situations to be addressed such as developing a method to collect sales tax on the wages paid to domestic staff.
Naturally there will have to be a way for the federal government to make up the shortfall caused by the loss of individual tax. That can be done by increasing the income tax rate on corporations with a gross income of over $500,000, doubling the income tax rate on businesses and manufacturing concerns operating in the United States with foreign ownership, increasing all import tariffs and eliminating the free trade agreement, eliminating tax breaks and increasing the tax rate for companies with off shore facilities. Additionally a per call tax should be charged to any operation with foreign call centers serving customers within the United States.
The cost of administration of such a plan is certainly off set by the decreased cost of not collecting individual income tax. Most states currently collect a state sales tax, and with minor changes to those operations, the national sales tax can easily be collected. Increased tariffs on foreign made goods may increase the price of items allowing American made products to compete. Elimination of income tax will provide more ready cash for consumers and should more than compensate for any price increase and sales tax.
To eliminate the possibility of the government subsequently implementing another individual income tax, a constitutional amendment must be approved that prohibits the concurrent implementation of both sales and individual income tax. However, that amendment must be worded to allow the continuation of corporate income tax and allow charging a higher tax rate on foreign owned operations.
Although mainstream media, Hollywood moguls, and politicians often give lip service to changing the tax structure to reduce the tax on middle and lower income people, it never seems to happen. A national sales tax on non-essential items allows the individual to pay a fair share based upon purchases.
This is not a novel idea. It has been proposed by many and rejected by more several times in the past. It has often been rejected as bad for the economy, but where are we now? Certainly our present structure has not successfully kept jobs and dollars in the US. Many taxpayers are feeling that tax dollars are wasted or spent on projects that provide no benefit. Although sales tax revenues may also be wasted or spent on controversial projects, at least the individual will benefit from the item purchased.
The funding of social security and Medicare must be addressed. Can the proposed sales tax along with the other ideas provide enough revenue for all government programs? Many questions need to be answered as the plan is fleshed out. There are certainly are many impediments to the plan, but it is worth examining as we look for solutions to this economic crisis.

Some of the most common tasks of online surveys are to identify which products sell best, which vacation spots are visited the most, and offer a way to collect health information. This is all valuable information that needs to be collected; therefore, companies are willing to pay people to take online surveys.
It isn’t easy to find legitimate survey sites. There are sites all over the Internet that promise to pay large sums for doing surveys. Don’t fall for this. Most legitimate survey sites will not pay a lot. You can make some extra money, but don’t expect to make a living doing surveys. You should look at it more as extra spending money, and the opportunity to learn about new products and services.
Here are a few online survey sites that you should check out:
· Global Test Market
· Pinecone Research
· Mysurvey.com
· MindField
These online survey sites do pay and they have customer service should any problems arise. Their emails are professional and you will not receive spam. If you wish to do online surveys check with any of the above sites. You can even sign up with all of them. Be aware that some online survey companies are by invitation only. Pinecone Research is this way, except for certain periods when they do open enrollment.
Payment is either sent by check or through PayPal. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you should sign up for one. It’s free and easy.
Some survey sites require confidentiality. The companies that contract with them are trying to find out what consumers think about products BEFORE they put them on the market. For this reason they don’t want information about the products to become public knowledge. You will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement before doing the surveys, and periodically throughout the time you work with the online survey site.
If you are looking to make a few quick bucks in a very easy manner, sign up with some online survey sites. They are fun and easy to do!

Managing time is very important in our lives! We often have the habit of doing things later, later, and later until you forgot to do the task on the time you should work on it making you unable to do other tasks on the line.
1. ALWAYS BRING WITH YOU A SMALL PEN AND A PAPER.
This is for you to write everything that comes into your mind and be able to include it on the future list of DO’s and DON’Ts!
2. EVERY TIME YOU THINK OF SOMETHING, DO IT RIGHT AWAY.
We often have the body clock and body alarm that warns and reminds us to do the things we must do. These are the things that we often forget and won’t be able to make it up if make no actions.
3. WRITE DOWN, THE NIGHT BEFORE, EVERY TASK YOU HAVE TO COMPLY FOR THE NEXT DAY!
Write down itinerary before every routine to save time. New ideas must be written down to a small piece of paper to be done after your daily planned activities or better yet include it to the future to DO list.
4. ALWAYS PLAN YOUR WORK, AND WORK ACCORDING TO YOUR PLAN.
This is very important! Always plan your work for a systematic result. Systematic results will give you peace of mind and will make you free from stress! To work according to your plan will make your life more easy than the habitual complicated life! Let us manage our time wisely and live a better life!

Writing is your investment. The thrill of writing a great article and earning residual income is better than investing in the stock market. There is something deeply beneficial in getting your words out on paper - or computer screen. To have others read and respond is inspiring. Making money however is also motivational. Face it we all need money to live on and the payout on payday can be very rewarding. Why not make the most of your efforts?
To DOUBLE your money can be very easy. If you can earn $30 on ehow, neowide or XOMBA then once you can do it 2x. If you can do that, then you can rewrite for others sites and double or even triple your initial revenue.
To do this all you have to do is rewrite the article with a good amount of revisions to keep it unique and not a straight copy of what you already have. Play with words, talk out loud, do whatever it takes to rework it. Play with titles in Google Search; check your keywords to optimize your article. You don’t have to take long just work smart.
Next, make sure to use Word to run spell and grammar check. Save the document in a folder with possible picture choices for various websites. Write and rewrite. Try to format it to a 700 word article. It is much easier to cut words than add, in my opinion. This may mean eliminating a few paragraphs or expanding on subtopics. Think of how some of the eBooks or advertising blogs look in your email.
Don’t forget to JAZZ up the title as it will not benefit you to have it optimized for Google search unless it is on a site that is ad revenue driven. You can have several alternate titles written and pasted to bottom of your word document. Choices are a good thing to have. You can also have picture choices mapped out and kept in the document files. I know they say to stay away from cliché’s but “variety is the spice of life”. That thought holds true in writing.
Use Google to find websites that will publish your article. You can check my articles on ehow with my Alrady name and get some website ideas. Neowide is going to give you the best dollar for upfront that I have seen so far. Ehow is the best for residual. Writing your own blog is a good way to try to pull in advertising from other sources and allow you to use affiliates such as Shopzilla or Amazon or Chitka. But that my friend, is an article for another day and another dollar!

There were times when the customer was considered a king in the market. He was always right in his opinion. It now appears all the business institutions, banks, stores, supermarkets, shopping centers, cell phone companies, handy men, in short sales persons every where have said goodbye to the old culture of customer service. No body, it seems from the present trends, cares for the customer now.
The shop attendants were ever ready to listen to you and answer every question that you asked even though it might have been an obvious one. They were so always eager to explain and provided all assistance that you needed. You were not kept waiting to receive their attention. You were made to feel important.
Gone are the days, when you were greeted politely by the smiling faces of shop owners or their attendants. You were addressed as Sir/Madam in clear welcome tones. Now there are long queues while the staff moves about unmindful of your presence.
You call their customer care service and you have to hear recorded script that keeps you on hold interminably for personal answers to your calls. Your packages are delivered late and there are no satisfactory explanations for the delay. Your credit/debit cards are blocked without any legitimate reason. You have to pay unjustified high charges and penalties by banks and financial institutions. You are even provided untrue information and you feel harassed. The overall standard of workmanship has gone down. Important information is often withheld. Above all there is a shortage of trained customer care staff.
What are the causes for this downfall in customer care service?
One reason why you do not receive that kind of care and attention is that you are financially indebted to every major institution that you deal with. You will have to buy their wares whether you like it or not. The people out there think that if not you someone else is going spend his money with them anyway. So why should they dance upon your order?
This probably is the reason why you may have to spend some 45 minutes of your lunch our waiting in a queue to clear just one transaction.
How to complain against the faulty customer services
Always keep a pen and paper while calling the customer care service and seek the name and job title of the person responding your call. Note it down. Ask him to connect you with the manager, if the executive does not serve you properly. If the manager too is not cooperative, go for legal action.
