Major NeoWide Changes

October 31st, 2008 | View all NeoWide news

As NeoWide has past through the most important months of it’s existence, we looked back to analyze and count our profit. The results of our analysis have driven us to conclusions that will change the face of our project.

First and foremost we realized that in spite of the fact that all articles are unique, Google did not generate enough visits to our site.
The bad news is that we won’t be able to pay any of you for the articles you posted. As some of you suggested, we decided to return to the revenue sharing system and so, you will be paid by Google AdSense. We found this to be a fair way to pay writers since some of your articles have generated more visits and others less. This is a better way for you to earn money, even MORE money, as this is an active type of income, not a passive one - meaning you will be paid monthly for the same article (in accordance with the number of visitors your ads have brought), not just once when you publish it. In this case, the more articles, the merrier. Just as a tip, you can bring a lot of visits if you use social networks such as digg.com, stumbleupon.com or others out there. A great tool to do that faster is Social Marker.

We will soon post on the “write 4 money” page a more detailed description of how this system works. I’m sure though, that most of you already know.

Congratulations to Alien and Angel Sharum!

We are happy to announce that the amount of $50 has been reached by our top two writers: Alien and Angel Sharum!

We would like to use this opportunity and express our thanks to you, all our users, for being part of the slow but steady growth of Neowide. We couldn’t have done it without you! As new heights await our collaboration, we are happy to have you alongside.

Hello Neowide writers and readers

As you have noticed by now, we made some changes to our website.

First, we made a frontpage where we assembled up some of the users main interests. We hope it will serve it’s purpose well.

If you haven’t read our Write 4 Money page yet, we have news for you. Concerning the payment system of your articles, we decided to change the revenue sharing provided by Google Adsense to simply evaluating your article and set a price for it. Judging by the quality of your article, the price will range from $1 to $10. To find out what we focus on when evaluating articles, please read our “How to write articles” page.

Now you don’t have to worry about getting visits to your articles anymore.

For those that already posted articles before this change, we would like to let you know that we will evaluate those articles as well so, in the near future you should have a few bucks in your account.

Enjoy writing!
