Article about: dentist rip off, doctor, medical planning

“Seek a symptom and yee shall find.” You have heard of this saying before and this is very true. A doctor or dentist will seek a symptom that is not there but the patient will respond that they have it. Yes! Doctors are tricky people. They’re not suppose to be though. A trip to the doctor or the dentist will cost you hundreds and even thousands. I have gone to them all the time and have learned that I was ripped off on some occasions. Your doctor and dentist need to make a living too you know and they will suggest procedures that are not necessary at all. They just want to make some more money. They’re like a salesman who will put you at stake to make his sales goals. Doctor and dentist are ethical professions but they also like to meet their sales goal too. I’m sure you have read plenty stories where they cheat patients so that they can earn more.

I’ve read one story about a doctor in my community who told a patient that she has cancer and needed surgery for removal. The procedure would cost, you know, lots of money. The doctor did the surgery and then discovered that it was a lie. The patient had no cancer and the doctor just open the body and closed it to get a large sum of money. The patient then sue this doctor and got her money back while the doctor was penalized for doing this. Yes! There are doctors who are like this and you need to beware when it comes to procedures that cost thousands of dollars.

I’ve had a dentist who recommend a procedure to me where I didn’t really needed it. One of my tooth just needed mercury fillings and I didn’t need a root canal or to pull the tooth out but the dentist told me that I needed to do that which will cost at least $1000. Well, since I had a lot of medical background I went on to another dentist and it only cost me $70 to get my tooth filled with mercury. I didn’t need a root canal or have my teeth pulled out. I had no infection but the other dentist insisted that she won’t fill my teeth and I needed to do the $1000 procedure. So I saved myself $900 dollars by reassessing my case and went to another dentist.

Sometimes this is what we needed to do. We need to look at our situation to see what else we can do if the current situation is too steep. Remember you can always go to another doctor or dentist if you feel like the one that you’re with is no good. Don’t restrict yourself to one thing. Go ahead and think critically and do what is best for you. I also have heard lots of cases where people have to get so much for their dentist trip when they don’t really need to do that. Next time that you have a dental or medical issue make sure you do some thinking and research before you pay the big bucks. Remember that doctors and dentists are the biggest salesman because their service can render them tons of money.

You can consult someone with the same problems and see what they have done and see if that’s something that you can do or is similar to the recommendation of your doctor or dentist. These professionals rely on the fact that you don’t know a thing about their field to take advantage of you. yes they do! You should be careful. I have had a lot of personal experiences with health care providers that don’t care. First hand experience. It may shock you to find out but you’ll be amazed at how far these professionals will go. You have to look out for your best interest at all time. Health care providers are people too and they’re no God. So you should not expect them to be all perfect because that’s not true.

The next time that you’re going to get a major procedure done like surgery you need to ask for a second opinion from another doctor consultant before you proceed just to double check your doctor or dentist. Just like buying a car, you would look around first and then come back to the best price right. You wouldn’t buy the first thing that you see. I’ve got car scam before because I bought the first thing that I’ve seen and it cost me so much money. The car I got needed fixing every single week. I regreted not doing a lot of research and shopping around. You should be doing a lot of research next time you’re doing a serious procedure.
