If you work as an office worker or as a manager in a bank, probably you are asked to wear a costume everyday. It`s important to transmit the feeling that you belong in the area of business, that you represent successfully the institution`s image you work for. So how to dress up properly, but in the same time, to feel comfortable in your clothes?

The companies are preoccupied to impose a certain professional image in front of the actual or potential clients. One of the identified solution of having a impeccable image, but people to feel free in it, is the style: Business Casual.

You might have heard from your friends or have read from magazines, words like : Business Casual, Business Formal or Casual Friday. All this notions may have different interpretation, but it exists a strong connection between them. Maybe, in the company you work, does not exist a fashion code. Then, the concept of Business Casual can save you.

What is Business Casual?

A Business Casual suit presumes the combination between parts of business clothes and of comfortable one`s. Remember that in a serious company you must wear a sac suit! Although, you don`t wear it every second, it must exist on a coat hanger in your office, so you can wear it anytime you have to.

Essential rules:

• Your clothes that are destined for picnic, fitness, going to beach etc are not suitable for a professional presentation. It makes sense, doesn’t it?
• The clothes that are too decollete are not allowed in a business environment;
• Your clothes must always be impeccable and ironed;
• The perfume and the accessories, the jewels and the make-up must be discrete and high quality;

• The handbags , the shoes, the belts should be made from authentic leather;

The TV model

If we leave for a moment the business environment and think about the mass-media, we  will see how much it counts the way we are dressed. Watch a talk show and you`ll see that the emission`s host is always wearing a suit.

Impressions  & levels

Of course, it depends on what kind of impression you want to make. If you want to be at the same level with the host, to dress like her, to approach of her style, dress with a sac suit and a pair of pants. But if you want to be at a lower level,  you should dress with a shirt!

The obligatory list

For ladies, here is a list with necessary things for their fashion style:

- a suit (sac suit+pants) dark colored (black, brown or sea blue) - you will wear it just as a suit in a professional environment and in the situations when it is allowed the style business casual, you can combine them with other pieces;

- a suit (sac suit + skirt) dark colored … same rules from the above;

- white shirt - can be weard with a pair of dark colored pants and with some accessories: pearls;

-a well proportioned handbag will offer you an impeccable aspect;

-and if you want to have more charm you can attach a scarf at your clothing;

Remember: you have a only chance to make a positive impression! Especially in the business environment! Use it in your favor!
