There are many high school students out there who wish to be a doctor and they need to research as much as possible on the topic so that they can be successful without wasting their time and money. You have to know exactly what to do in order to make it into medical school. Medical school is one of the toughest to get into. Why? Because when you get out you’ll be one of the wealthiest individual in this society. You won’t be a millionaire but you will have a very stable and high paying job.

When you think of becoming a doctor you must first know that you have to be clear from criminal records because they won’t grant you a license if you have a misdemeanor or felony criminal record. Even if you finished your medical school they won’t grant you that license. This is why you need to go to the board and find out the specific guidelines before you ever start to prepare for medical school. You will also need to be free of certain diseases in order to be a health care provider. You will need to be free of TB and other communicable diseases. You will need to show that you have good morals and that you’re a positive individual. Therefore, any kind of curriculum activities that show that you’re a nice and ethical person will do. For example, you belong to a club at your local church. You volunteer to feed the homeless. Any of these activity will help you when you apply for medical school.

When you apply for medical school they will ask that you have recommendation letters and so you need to know a few good professors that can write you really good recommendation letters. You will also need a good amount of funds in your bank account in order to be well flourish in medical school. You will not be able to work once you’re in medical school. You’re risking failing and not coming back to the program if you flunk out. Medical program is very tricky once you get kicked out you won’t be able to come back like any other major. The health care field is a tricky one because there ares so many things that you got to do, that you can’t just have someone pop in and out all the time. Everyone has to be on track and have to go on together with the entire class.

There are people that flunk out and it’ll be one of the biggest stress of their lives. They will be waiting for years and years to get back into one. Medical school is like brain surgery, you have to go at it once and you can’t just jump in and out of the operating room while the patient lays there. You need all of your focus on them. Therefore, before you enter medical school you will need a large bank account to support you for 8 years of school. When you finished medical school you will be going into residency which is another 4 years and it cost a lot to support yourself while practicing. Residency is also a very critical stage and you can’t just work and support yourself because you can flunk out. You don’t want to flunk out when you’re already finished. Cost is very high with housing and foods and school supplies, therefore the number one thing is to have a large bank account to get yourself well prepared.

What are the educational requirement before entering into medical school?

1. You will need to have a Bachelor degree in biology, bio-chemistry, chemistry, any science field. These field will help your out in medical school. You will be giving more priority over the ones that major in English or philosophy. You will not be admitted to medical school unless you have a bachelor’s degree. It’ll help you out if you have a high GPA in your bachelor degree. GPA is everything when it comes to medical school because once you get into medical school, they will need you to be a highly successful student. Therefore, they will evaluate your GPA as your potential for success in medical school. Although it’s not always true but it does help them to determine where your capacity is.

Along with your bachelor’s degree, it will also helped if you went to a very prestigious school for your undergraduate education. Because these school have a stricter requirement and better education hence it’s telling the board that you made it at least to these school.

How to get into a medical school?

Medical school is very tough to get into. You are competing with  lots of people and therefore you should apply to as much school as possible. If you only apply to one school this is not going to cut it. You have to apply to at least 15 school because medical school is not like cooking school. Therefore, it takes a lot of work and patience to get into one. It’s a very long road so that’s why you need to be very prepared.

If you live in a very well to do state like California, you should know that it’s very difficult to get into the school here. Most people don’t really get admitted here. Therefore they would apply to outside school like another state or even country. Some people would go all the way to East coast and some to Mexico. The farther you go the better chance of getting in because nobody wants to go far and people from those state don’t really want to be doctors. This is how it works. You want to be admitted because you don’t want to sit around and wait until you’re old. Therefore, you should prepare yourself very well for that. You have to have a big bank account and parents to support you throughout. Don’t think that your loan will do you any good. It won’t . Loan at your college or bank can deny you for a lot of reasons. There’s no guarantee with them.
