I was a single mother trying the best I could in raising my children. I worked long hours missing time with the loves of my life. Managing time with family, but knowing my responsibility of being a mother. I heard a lot of hype about Internet dating, but I had no faith in something or someone I have never seen. Besides I already had a few bad relationships. Well after months have went by, I thought I would give it a try. I posted a profile on yahoo personals, with a passing thought this would only be a try-out. I talked to a few people, but nothing really ever happened. Months later I had this message left in July of 2003. Well at that time i was moving so i had no connection to the Internet, until October. I decided even after this much time has past I would email this guy. Well behold he emailed me back later the same night. 3 months later we meant. We hit it off with no dead air and laughs just keep coming. Two weeks later we decided we were going to take a vacation in Jan. to the Grand canyon for the weekend. The sights there were great, especially with all the snow on the ground. When we returned, we agreed it was time for us to meant the children. All the children as well hit it off like they have been friends for years. Now I say take the time to know someone before you meant to make sure of what your feeling. If in your stomach you feel something isn’t right be careful. But sometimes taking a chance is well worth it. Internet dating isn’t for everyone, but without trying it how will you ever know?

It’s now 2008 and we have been married for over 3 years. With years to come.

The main part of this story is you can not give up on love. Your turn in happiness will come.
