PSYCHOSONIC RHYTHM
For carrying a successful hypnosis or self-hypnosis you need to have a noise free environment. During the phase, when the mind is subconscious even a small sound like ticking of a clock seems to be magnified. The other voices like barking of dogs down the street and birds above are enough to cause distraction. For hypnosis or self-hypnosis, noises small or strong, are quite damaging.
To overcome the problem of noise, the hypnotherapists or people using self-hypnosis have been using white noise and blinking lights to reduce distraction from external noises. Even a soft soothing music has been tested with, but this has also resulted in distracting the patients. As, all these could not stop the noise from distracting the patient during the process of hypnosis, the idea of audible beats was conceived which could cover the sounds like ticking of the clock, barking dogs, birds sounds.
These Psychosonic Rhythms stimulate the brain wave without the risk of epileptic seizures. It is a set of two rhythms. This dual rhythm helps to generate a brain wave frequency and assist in hypnosis. It has been used to hypnotize the patients successfully. Patient can achieve deeper state of hypnosis and is safer for patient with seizures.
Psychosonic Rhythm is especially beneficial during self-hypnosis. Though, it cannot control the heavy external sounds, but still can make the environment calm by controlling the small distracting sounds. This increases the success of hypnosis process considerably.
The psychiatrists now prefer and recommend the use of Psychosonic Rhythm during hypnosis and self-hypnosis. Researches are still on its way to make the Psychosonic Rhythm effective in dealing with stronger sounds, as well.
