Article about: New York City

Many people poke fun at the rough attitude of New York City locals, but in reality, the city is a wonderful place to visit that is always full of magic and life. Though the streets are always crowded with endless taxis, cars, and pedestrians, there is never a lack of activities to partake in. The hustle and bustle of city life creates a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air.

New York City is home to some of the largest and most luxurious stores and restaurants in the world. For instance, it contains a four-story tall Toys’R’Us store, complete with a working ferris wheel right in the middle of the store that rises to the ceiling. Their M&Ms store contains mountains of colorful M&M statues and merchandise, as well as fountain dispensers of M&Ms in every color and combination imaginable. The three-story tall World of Disney Store is one of only five of its kind, and it is the only place outside of the parks where it is possible to meet the Disney characters in person.

Scholars of art and history can also find themselves at home in New York City. The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are two very important historical landmarks and can both be visited during a trip to the city. Some of its most famous museums include the Museum of Natural History, which contains many exhibits featuring artifacts from our past, and the Museum of Modern Art, where art scholars may find the latest in artistic accomplishments.

Broadway is one of New York City’s finest assets. All along this avenue are theaters that showcase the finest in quality entertainment where performers will sing, dance, and act out stories for top dollar. It is easy to meet many famous actors by simply waiting in front the stage door of the theater after that day’s performance.

With so much to see and do, no wonder New York City is considered the city that never sleeps.
